HONOLULU, HAWAII (February 1, 2011) - PacRim Marketing Group, Inc. has promoted Kim Fujinaka to Integrated Marketing and Client Services Manager. She is responsible for overseeing staff and developing public relations and promotional programs for Hawaii businesses and organizations wanting to increase their share of the Asia traveler market. She was previously Marketing Coordinator at PacRim Marketing Group.
“Kim has been an integral part of our Integrated Marketing Team, multi-tasking and providing excellent and detail oriented service to our clients, including showing them measures and results of PacRim’s work and working directly with representatives of the Japanese, Korean, and Chinese communities and media to identify opportunities and enhance media coverage,” said Dave Erdman, President and CEO of PacRim Marketing Group, Inc.
Kim currently serves as a 2010 Honolulu Japanese Junior Chamber of Commerce Cherry Blossom Festival Princess. Her work, education, and cultural experience make her uniquely qualified to work on multicultural accounts with clients desiring to increase their share of the Asian market. Prior to joining PacRim Marketing Group in 2008, Kim was a Community Relations Coordinator at Loyola Marymount University and an Administrative Assistant at Med Consultants and Resources. She is an avid community volunteer, whether working with the elderly at various nursing homes, assisting with family events at the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii, or organizing Kalani High School’s annual “Thanksforgiving” Golf Tournament.
Kim holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration in Marketing from Loyola Marymount University, where she studied marketing promotional strategies, consumer behavior, brand management, and marketing research. While at Loyola Marymount, she was Vice President of Community Service for Delta Sigma Pi Professional Business Fraternity. Kim was Student Body President at Kalani High School and continues her involvement as a current Director for the Kalani Falcon Athletic Boosters.
