Honolulu—PacRim Marketing Group, Inc. has promoted Desiree Yamamoto to Director of Integrated Marketing from Marketing and Client Services Manager. She is responsible for overseeing staff and developing programs that integrate new and traditional marketing methods for reaching Asia-Pacific consumers on behalf of clients.

Yamamoto came to PacRim Marketing Group from Red Rover Creative (now DBA 4Front Branding), where she held the title of Client Service and Planning Executive. Prior to that, she worked at Laird Christianson Advertising in Honolulu as an Assistant Account Executive.
As the Honolulu Japanese Junior Chamber of Commerce Cherry Blossom Festival Queen, from March 2006 to March 2007, Yamamoto served as cultural ambassador for the local Japanese American community on the U.S. Mainland and in Japan, speaking and providing support to more than 60 local businesses and non-profit service organizations. She continues to provide support for the Honolulu Japanese Junior Chamber of Commerce by serving on the Cherry Blossom Festival Steering Committee.
Yamamoto also is active with the American Heart Association, assisting in 2006, 2008 and 2009. For heart walk, she chaired the keiki tent in 2007, 2008 and 2009
Yamamoto holds a Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA) with a specialization in Marketing from Loyola Marymount University (Los Angeles, California).
