Marketing Department - Media Coordinator

Under the direction of the IMS V.P. Sales & Marketing, this position provides services and support to PacRim Marketing Group Japanese and US based clients for their marketing, sales promotion, public relations, and advertising needs. As a liaison to representatives of the Japanese media, the position performs duties related to special projects involving various public relations activities including promotional presentations in Japanese to clients, potential clients, or tourist-oriented special interest groups. The position also requires translation of Japanese correspondence and telephone communications for internal IMS operations.
1-3 years experience in media and travel trade relations is desired. Bi-lingual/bi-literacy in Japanese/English language skills are required. Extensive coordination experience for projects necessary and the candidate must have the ability to handle multiple tasks. Candidate should have broadcast or print media experience, travel industry experience.
