Media Sales Representative

We are looking to add a Media Sales Representative to add to our team.  This person will be focused towards seeking and securing new sales/business opportunities in selling media.  This is a full-time position with excellent benefits.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Drive advertising revenue with aggressive sales efforts to penetrate new markets and increase existing market presence.
  • Consult with customers to be able to properly articulate the value propossition.
  • Build customer relationships on an ongoing basis.
  • Prospect and generate leads.
  • Monthly forecasting and reporting.
  • Work with staff to develop creative advertising packages - both print and online.
Job Requirements:
  • College degree preferred.
  • 2-5 years' experience in direct media advertising sales print and/or online.
  • Professional sales training a plus.
  • Media sales background required.
  • Bilingual speaking, reading and writing ability preferred (English and Asian language - Japanese, Chinese, Korean)
  • Bi-cultural understanding and passion of the Asian market(s).
  • Clear understanding of advertising, marketing services and sales administration.
  • Strong, confident, written and verbal communications skills.
  • Proactive, detail oriented, team player
  • Experience working with luxury brands helpful.
  • Relationships in the Hawaii retail market
  • Ideal candidate is energetic, self-motivated, team-oriented and customer-centric
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and sales tracking tools
  • Reliable transportation
